Snowy Family Session

It was such a joy photographing Danielle and Justin’s growing family when new baby Jonás was only two months old. This is the perfect age for photographs because the little ones just begin to interact with me and it shows through the lens, capturing precious moments they’ll cherish.

We did an in home session at their gorgeous home in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. One of my favorite parts of this session was the freshly fallen snow from the night before. The snow created a perfect reflector of light and made the patio a neutral and light backdrop. Plus, a puppy makes every session a little more fun.
