Capturing Your Child’s Milestones

Milestone sessions can be a special way to capture a specific moment in time that you want to remember forever. I recently photographed a very special milestone session that brought a smile to my face and I hope will to yours as well.

I photographed Liam in the West Loop of Chicago and it’s some of my favorite work so far. Liam is the son of one of my best friends and he also happens to be my daughter’s best friend. It was so special for me to be able to capture these precious moments for their sweet family. Plus -- who doesn’t love a first birthday smash cake?  

One of my favorite parts of this session was the urban background with brown cobblestone and brick that really speaks to the city of Chicago and the first year of Liam’s life. It also let the love and light from this family shine through. Milestone sessions give me the chance to explore a playful and fun vibe that will last the family a lifetime. I mean, look how happy this baby boy looks!
