Virtual 1st Birthday Party

Dear 2020 Babies, You were born during a worldwide pandemic – something I didn’t understand 1 year ago.

What a year it has been!

Purnima reached out to me about photographing a birthday event. She explained to me that they would be FaceTiming family during this and having a virtual party. Her little boy Palmer has spent much of his 1st year inside the safety of their home which is something unique to all of the babies that have been born this year. So professional photos were pretty essential. The virtual party turned out adorable and baby Palmer had a blast.

There is something about a baby that brings so much joy. As we approach the anniversary of our Chicago lockdown, I realize how much light these new little ones have brought us during this time. They have taught us that even in the hardest, most difficult times miracles do happen. Good things do come, and there is always hope for a brighter future. I am so happy I was able to meet Palmer and his wonderful parents. Happy 1st Birthday Sweet boy!
