I met Ojus through her work on instagram. She is a brilliant writer/editor. Her words inspired me so much that I started following and reading every one of her posts. Check her out She is amazing!

Before starting my photography business I was an Art Director at an agency here in Chicago. Much of my work was strategically pairing designs with words to create a specific feeling. I was in charge of thinking through the inherent perception of what emotions a piece of work brings out. This is something that really resonates with me in photography. Many of the images I take become pieces of art that create a lot of emotion for me and my clients. This is one of the main reasons I did the career switch. I love how my images make people feel.

During my session with Ojus I told her about how I long for words to go along with many of the artful images I do. Maybe one day we can collaborate on something. :)

But for now I absolutely loved meeting her beautiful family for this sunrise session in Half Day Forest Preserve. What a fun morning!
