Mini Session Guide

Hooray! You’re officially signed up for my mini session event!

  • What to Wear

Moms – pick your outfit first.
You booked this shoot so I want you to feel amazing in these photos! Pick something that you feel really good in because that comfort will shine through in the pictures. From there, pick every one else’s outfits.

  • Go with the Flow

I have 2 little girls at home. I totally get it. It’s frustrating when you put all of this effort into photos and damn it why can’t they just smile? LOL. I promise, I will work my butt off to try to get the most adorable photos for you. You guys just laugh at the chaos and go with the flow. Your expressions will set the tone of the photos.

  • Imperfect Portraits

It’s important to keep in mind that we might not get that perfect portrait where everyone is smiling right at me. I will aim to get some of those shots for you, but I can’t promise it will always work out that way at a mini session. But what we will for sure get are some stunning pictures that really showcase the best of your life – your family, spending time together, being themselves.

  • Preparation

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!

We have such a short amount of time together so please be prepared on the day of your mini session.

Pack and plan the night before (examples - light snacks that won’t stain, cute blanket or toy that we can use as back up for soothing, lip stick, extra shirt for dad incase its really hot, and a brush) Make sure you plan on arriving/parking at least 20 mins before the session without exception and figure out what time you need to leave to make that happen the night before. I want you to be relaxed for these photos. (Not stressed/frazzled from checking the GPS every second in your car) I really don’t have wiggle room so if you’re late I might not be able to accommodate your shoot that day.
